Please give us 48 hours for any refills of medication. Our technicians have a lot of responsibilities- not only as pharmacy technicians. They are surgical technicians and room technicians as well. So here is the process: the requests are sent to the prescribing doctor by the client service coordinator that takes the message, which is then filled out and sent to the technicians for filling. They are double checked and then ready for pick up. The process is time-consuming but necessary.
We also want to remind you that you must call the prescription line for medications and food orders. Please do not call the front desk and ask for these items. You will be directed to call back and use the prescription line. If you are walking in and have not ordered your medications or food ahead of time, you will be required to wait or come back.

I hope everyone is enjoying spring. Our suppliers have had numerous increases for so many of our medications. We are not made aware of the increase prior to purchase and only know when the product is input into our inventory system. It would be impossible to inform each client when there is an increase in something they use- We certainly understand that everything is expensive and share in your frustration. We all pay more for everything as well and, unfortunately, veterinary medicine is driven by the same economic factors. Please feel free to speak to the staff if you would like to know how much something costs.
